About the Event
Sandra Best Bailly and Jet LeBlanc will chat with each other about similarities and differences they have discovered between industry and academia and how these insights inform their work today. Come with questions and observations for them to participate in a lively discussion about work culture, systems, norms, challenges, and opportunities.
Sandra Best Bailly, MSW (she/her/hers) is a clinically trained social worker with over 18 years of experience in healthcare delivery and health plans in a variety of roles from medical management to program leadership, before transitioning to the academy as Assistant Director, Field Education and Associate Professor of Practice. Sandra is currently the Associate Director of Student Support and Alumni Networks for the MSW Program at Simmons University. And, she extends herself as a CTI-trained Leadership Coach at the Institute for Inclusive Leadership at Simmons University. Sandra most recently joined ATG as a consultant and coach.
Jet LeBlanc (she/they) enjoyed over 25 years in corporate America in a variety of roles from technical writer to Agile business coach, before entering the world of academia as a program manager for ATG. As a Principal Information Developer, she specialized in improving communications and managing change across a global team in the financial software industry, participating in the switch to Agile from traditional software development. In addition to bringing ATG’s programs online, Jet co-facilitates workshops on Agile Management and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
