A seasoned presenter, speaker, trainer and coach, Wendy began her career as a college instructor, developing her passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Beyond her MA, she holds the Kellogg Certification as a Developmental Education Specialist, mastering theories, techniques and methodologies in adult learning.
She co-founded a national non-profit and served as Program Director and project manager. She added grant proposals, compliance and administration to her toolbox, with awards from HUD, FEMA, HOPWA as well as state and private foundations. She designed evaluation metrics for programs and generated impact reports. She also developed and led trainings for executives, staff and Board members.
Wendy started her own consulting company in 2017 offering Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) trainings to non-profits and universities, comprehensive grant services, program optimization, and professional writing. Her current clients include The Arts Empowerment Project in Charlotte, NC and Smith College Information Technology Services in Northampton, MA.
Wendy offers her suite of DEIB workshops through ATG. Together with Jet Leblanc, she facilitates sessions on cognitive bias, microaggression, and inclusion
