Susannah Gal, PhD brings experience with a variety of different types of grants in many fields. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and been a faculty member for more than 25 years at Binghamton University and Penn State Harrisburg.
Dr. Gal has been funded by NIH, NSF, USDA, Fulbright and a variety of foundations, companies and state agencies. She has assessed programs for various departments as the Associate Dean of Research and Outreach at Penn State Harrisburg coaching faculty in all fields of scholarship including Fulbright and National Endowment for the Humanities fellowships.
She also oversaw the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and coached faculty on industry contracts. As part of that position, she worked with faculty and reviewed projects from around Penn State University.
Dr. Gal has broad experience in reviewing proposals in a variety of scientific, social and humanities’ fields. Her experience as a reviewer for several federal agencies and as a Program Officer at NSF allow her to provide feedback that should make any proposal stronger.
